Hash Brown Casserole


1 pkg. of frozen hash brown potatoes (not shredded)
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 (8 oz.) sour cream
1/2 a stick of butter, melted
2 cups of shredded mild cheddar cheese
Salt and pepper to taste

1/2 stick butter
Corn Flakes


Mix all ingredients together. Pour into buttered casserole dish (9×13) oblong or (10×10) big square corning ware dish, and flatten it down with the spoon.

Crumble corn flakes over the top (just enough to cover top evenly in a thin layer) and melt 1/2 stick of butter and spoon over top of corn flakes.

Bake in a preheated oven at 350° for about 1 hour and 15 minutes uncovered.
